Summer, 2006. I was fortunate enough to take a two week vacation, and then a week later take a one week vacation. Both were excellent, and both are documented in photos here. NC-VA-TN vacationOn the first vacation, Tom and I were gone for two weeks. The first week we went primarily to Tennessee and Virginia. We visited some of Tom's relatives and saw the area where his family is from. On the second week, we joined much of my family at Nag's Head, NC, and then stopped briefly in Savannah on the way home, where we rented a beach house (as in a house right on the ocean) for a week.
